Class description
Baby and We Language is an eight-week course in which parents learn foundational concepts in speech and language development and practice strategies for supporting typical language development for babies and toddlers ages 0-18 months and 18 months - 3 years old. Depending on class size and space limitations, we welcome bringing along grandparents and other caregivers who are part of your baby’s life.

Meet our teachers
Liz Martin
Liz specializes in neurorehabilitation and is fascinated by the brain and neurodevelopment. Although her private practice focuses primarily on adult rehab, Liz has had a passion for language acquisition and working with very young children since she was a child. Liz is thrilled to be able to realize her goal of community classes that empower parents and caregivers to support language development and pre-literacy skills through simple strategies and routines. She has two young children herself (6 and 4), and understands the challenges associated with the transition to becoming a parent. She hopes to provide simple and digestible strategies for parents to support development, without adding to anyone's "to-do" list.
Margaux
Margaux is a bilingual (Spanish-English) speech and language pathologist with nine years of experience. She has been working with children for over 16 years and is excited to be working directly with families. She has a particular interest in the intersection of speech-language development, somatics, and trauma. When she isn’t working, she can be found dancing, rock climbing, walking on the bike path, listening to a podcast or audiobook, or spending time with friends and family.
